The Honor Device Co Ltd invention works as follows

A method of quickly starting an application service and a terminal.” The method comprises acquiring event trigger data by a terminal; starting the application software by the terminal after determining the event trigger data meets a preset fast startup condition; acquiring a voice command input by a customer and running the software in accordance with the voice command. The embodiments of this disclosure provide a method for starting application service software by using event-trigger information. This allows a background to start recording only when the application software has been started. Background recording stops after the terminal has provided an application service to a user.

Background for Method to quickly start application service and terminal

A smartphone is now an essential tool for communication. The ability to make a quick call anywhere, anytime, is the core of this type of communication. To make a phone call on a smartphone today, you must select a dialup tool, enter a number into a dialup interface, tap the call button and then call out. The dial-up tool is often combined with an addressbook. The user can also choose a contact in the address book and enter the details of that contact. They then press the dial-up button. This dial-up procedure requires at least three button presses. For making a phone call, if the smartphone is in standby or screen-off mode (and the screen lock has been set on the mobile), the steps include unlocking and lighting the screen. A smartphone will be in standby mode or screen off for the majority of time due to a limited battery life. If the user wants to call someone, they will need to perform at least five button presses. The current steps to make a phone call on a smartphone are not very user-friendly and complex. “A realistic user request that must be addressed urgently is the ability to quickly make a phone call using a smartphone. This can be achieved by pressing fewer buttons.

In the prior art, to enable a user quickly make a phone call on a mobile device, the voice of the user was converted into text by an app, such as a Voice Assistant, on the mobile device and by using speech recognition technology. That is, an instruction for a smartphone can be made through voice input.

However, the prior art requires that a microphone be occupied to record a voice app. If the voice app is used when the screen is off, a recording device must be in the background to continue recording. An application processor cannot remain in standby mode for a very long time. This increases the power consumption and battery life of a smartphone.

In embodiments, the inventions “A method of quickly starting an application service and a Terminal” are used to solve a problem that existed in the past: the power consumption of terminals is high because of background recording by a recording device.

The present disclosure discloses a method of quickly starting an application, which includes acquiring event trigger data by a terminal and using the event trigger data to start the application software on the terminal. It also involves starting the application software by the terminal after determining the event information meets the preset quick-start condition.

The first aspect is described as follows: “In a first possible way of implementing the first element, the application services software is dial-up software. The acquiring by a terminal event trigger data includes acquiring by the device the event trigger data, which is used to launch the dial up application software. And the acquiring by the terminal a voice command input by a customer, and then running the application service according to that voice command includes acquiring by the device the voice directive input by the customer, and then running the dial up application

In a second possible way of implementing the first part, “With reference to first aspect or first possible implementation method of first aspect”, the acquiring of event trigger by a terminal includes acquiring the event trigger by the device in a state of black screen; and acquiring a voice command input by a person and running application service software in accordance with the voice command includes acquiring the voice order input by the person in the state of black screen and running application service software in accordance with the voice directive.

In a third possible way of implementing the first part, the acquisition of event trigger information by a terminal includes receiving a button launch event from the terminal that the user inputs by pressing a physical button. The terminal then acquires the event trigger data according to this button launch event.

In a fourth possible way of implementing the first aspect after determining the event trigger information is in compliance with a quick start condition, the terminal can determine whether the trigger time for the button startup event exceeds a threshold. If yes, it can then launch the application software.

In a fifth possible way of implementing the first element, the acquisition of event trigger data by a terminal includes receiving a sensor start-up event from the user and acquiring the event trigger data based on the sensor start-up event.

In a sixth possible way of implementing the first aspect (with reference to the fifth implementation method), the starting of application service software by the Terminal after determining the event triggering information meets a fast startup condition comprises determining by the Terminal whether the event triggering information matches event data in a pre-set event information of the Terminal; and, if the match is found, then the Application Service Software will be started by the Terminal.

The present disclosure, in a second aspect of its embodiment, provides a terminal that includes an acquiring module to capture event trigger data, which is then used to launch application service on the terminal. It also contains a determining module to determine if the event information matches a preset condition for quick startup, as well as a running module to receive a voice input from a user and to run the application software according to it.

The second aspect is described as follows: “In a first possible way of implementing the second aspect the application service software can be dial-up software. In this case, the acquiring component is configured for acquiring the event-trigger information and using the event-trigger information to start the dial up application software. And the running module, configured to receive the voice instructions input by the user and run the dial up application software in accordance with the voice instruction.

In a second possible way of implementing the second part, the acquiring and running modules are configured to receive the event trigger data in a state of black screen, and to run the application software in accordance with the voice instructions.

The acquiring module is comprised of a receiving unit that receives a button launch event, which the user inputs by pressing a physical button. A first acquiring unit then acquires the event trigger data based on the button launch event.

The determining and startup module comprises a first determining device configured to determine if a trigger event of the button is greater than a threshold. It also includes a startup unit configured, when the first unit determines the button event trigger is greater than threshold, to start the application software.

The acquiring module includes, “With regard to any of the third aspect to the fourth possible implementation method of the third aspect, in the fifth possible implementation mode of the fourth aspect, a second receiving device configured to receive an event of sensor startup input by the user, and a secondary acquiring unit configured for acquiring the event trigger data according to the sensor event startup event.

In a sixth possible way of implementing the second aspect (with reference to the fifth implementation method), the determining module includes a second unit that determines whether event trigger information matches information stored in an event information preset set on the terminal. A second startup unit is then configured to launch the application service software if the second unit determines the event trigger matches information stored in the preset set.

The third aspect of the invention provides a terminal with an input device that is configured to obtain event trigger data, which is then used to launch application service on the terminal. It is also configured to receive a voice command input by a person. A processor is configured to run the application software when the event trigger data meets the preset quick start condition and to run it according to the voice command acquired by the input.

The third aspect is described as follows: “In a first implementation of the third element, the application service is dial-up software. The input device is configured for acquiring the event trigger data, which is then used to launch the dial up application software. In addition, the input is configured for capturing the voice instructions input by a user. And the processor is configured to execute the dial up application software based on the voice instructions after the input is acquired by the user.

In a second possible way of implementing the third element, with reference to the third or first possible implementation, the terminal includes a display, where the input device is configured for acquiring the event trigger information when the display is in black screen mode, and is also configured to capture the voice instructions input by the user in this black screen mode. The processor is then configured to execute the application service software based on the voice instruction acquired by input device.
